Measuring water consumption in buildings: Where precision and ease of assembly come together
The precise measurement of water consumption is required by law - and is technically more demanding than it appears at first glance. After all, water meters not only have to work reliably and accurately, they also have to be integrated into the drinking water installation in a professional and visually clean manner. At the same time, shutoffs on each storey are required for maintenance or meter changes - a challenge that often costs time in practice and is made even more difficult when space is limited.

Product highlights
With just two centre distances (120 mm and 65 mm), our solutions cover all common installation situations - even where space is particularly tight. By standardising our controls into two versions (a grip and an operating cover), design and product selection is simpler and handling on the construction site is more efficient. Both operating elements are suitable for all KEMPER water meter assemblies, water meter mounting blocks and flush-mounted valves.
Whether brickwork, partition construction or pre-wall installation: The new brackets ensure maximum flexibility during assembly.
The wetted parts of the KEMPER water meter assemblies are made of corrosion-resistant, durable gunmetal from our own foundry. The dead space-free design, which prevents stagnant water inside the tap, also ensures hygienic drinking water conditions.
The new EPS insulation shells meet all of the requirements of the German Buildings Energy Act (GEG).
By cutting the mounting sleeves flush with the wall during final installation, any leaking water (e.g. due to a defective gasket on the water meter) is channelled in front of the wall. This means that leaks can be detected and rectified at an early stage.
For maximum flexibility in everyday installation, our water meter mounting blocks can be divided into two mono blocks if required - particularly advantageous when installing in separate risers!
Newly designed covers in mono and duo versions for our XS water meter mounting blocks are both functional and visually appealing.
Thanks to a product range optimisation, only two operating units (grip and operating cover) are now available that fit both our mounting blocks and water meter assemblies as well as our flush-mounted valves. This prevents mix-ups in the ordering process and makes installation clearer, simpler and much more practical.
