New alloy for connector applications

KEMPER has added a new alloy to the KHP® program (KEMPER High-Performance) - KHP®102M - especially for use in special areas with high temperature loads.
"After many production tests and extensive analyses, we have found an alloy that has particularly good adhesive properties for tin coating, especially under extreme environmental conditions and even after a long time. And this without losing the proven spring properties of the KHP® materials," says Dr. Stephan Hansmann (Head of Technical Marketing). Thus, this new alloy increases the reliability of contact systems especially in automobiles and contributes to the safety of all of us. KHP®102M is cast here on site in our own foundry. The new KEMPER product has already been qualified by the first customers.
